See you in the next year

Looking into 2022, I’m thinking about the year that has passed. I also reflect on the 25 years that have gone by, since the original agency was founded. I have thought about the things we should bring with us into the future. And I find myself arriving at three different ideas, that were true then, are true now, and propably will be true tomorrow.

  1. We are identifying and solving communications and marketing problems, using creativity. This has always been a constant, and hopefully, it will remain so in the future. Because it’s fun. It's effective. And we’ve become quite good at it.
  2. The world in which we do this is constantly evolving. It’s complicated but awesome.
  3. The team. The people around you will not make magic – they are the magic. And if you don’t believe in them – the magic doesn’t work.

These three ideas are at the foundation of our agency and are as relevant for the work we do today, as the work we’ll produce tomorrow. 

For the upcoming year, I wish to see even more people and clients in all of our offices. Online meetings are good at best, but the dynamic energy that comes from meeting IRL is hard to replace. On that note, I wish to see more people move and interact between the offices too. As the ECD I’m fortunate to meet talent in all of our offices, this is a treasure box we should open up and explore more, in the coming year. 

A couple of years ago someone said: We help global clients into the Nordics – and we aid nordic clients to move into the world. I feel quite certain that this will be more relevant in 2022 than ever. These are exciting times, and we should be facing 2022 with all of our energy, as it will be needed. It will be a year of great change. 

But first, let’s all lean back and have a wonderful Christmas. We earned it!
