For years, Drama Queen has collaborated with Lantmännen Unibake to create impactful concepts, often focusing on sustainability, health, and responsibility in the global bakery industry.
The collaboration spans across multichannel assets, including sales materials, social media campaigns, and online content. This ensures that all Lantmännen Unibake markets can easily adopt and localize the concepts to suit their needs.
“With our expertise in crafting impactful, scalable concepts based on real insights, we help transform Lantmännen Unibake’s vision and goals into actionable tools”, explains Netta Alaranta, Account Director at Drama Queen.
Turning Insights into Action
A prime example of this partnership is Sustaina’bites, a concept designed to help restaurants reduce food waste – particularly bread – while also cutting down on meat usage. By transforming surplus bread into innovative dishes such as cassoulet with bread-based sausages or moussaka with bread layers, restaurants can lower their environmental impact without compromising on flavor.
“Today’s consumers care deeply about sustainability,” says Carlos Villanueva, Lantmännen Unibake’s Corporate Executive Chef, who features in the videos. “We help to give them the chance to enjoy their favorite dishes responsibly.”

Drama Queen took Sustaina’bites from an idea to a fully realized concept, complete with humane storytelling and content. Filming in Lantmännen Unibake’s Copenhagen test kitchen, we created videos and visuals that make sustainability look (and taste) irresistible.
“As one of the large food suppliers in the market we want to play a bigger part and take more responsibility across the food value chain. With Sustaina’bites we want to work closely together with our customers in commercial kitchens to reduce what is usually labeled as waste”, says Audrey Renaudie Regnier, Lantmännen Unibake’s Global Category Director.
“Through close collaboration with our chefs, interviews with customers and creativity, Drama Queen helped us make this concept come to life. With their support, we were able to identify unique insights and provide a scalable and meaningful solution.”
Big words? Sure. But this is the kind of big that actually counts. Meaningful, delicious, sustainable, and cost-efficient – a win for our client, diners and the planet!
